[GRASSLIST:9347] d.qgis in the latest GRASS-CVS and QGIS for MacOS X

Hi everyone,

Just tried out the latest GRASS6.1-CVS for macos X + qgis ---- and it sort of works.

if I launch QGIS with d.qgis file=path_to_qgis .... then it works, but i cannot load grass raster layers.

trying the -m flag to make links to the GRASS libs:

  d.qgis file=/Applications/qgis-0.7.4/qgis.app/Contents/MacOS/qgis -m

Done.
GRASS 6.1.cvs (pinn):~ > dyld: /Applications/qgis-0.7.4/qgis.app/Contents/MacOS/qgis version mismatch for library: /Applications/qgis-0.7.4/qgis.app/Contents/MacOS/lib/libgdal.1.dylib (compatibility version of user: 9.0.0 greater than library's version: 8.0.0)

i get the error above. After this QGIS will not run anymore, and i have to re-install it.

Any ideas?

Dylan,

You have to drop qgis onto Lorenzo's script that he send out with this
version of GRASS, the one named "drag qgis to enable-disable grass tools".
This changes some interal links in QGIS to allow it to recognize GRASS
files, etc. See the README file that comes along with it.

I have had success by starting GRASS, then on the command line navigating to QGIS

>cd /Applications/QGIS/

  and opening QGIS with

> open qgis.app

Then load the grass plug-in and it works fine.
