I've been working mostly on my laptop now, with a resolution of
1280x800 (widescreen), and the thing is that display manager is takin
almost half of the screen (see screenshot). Is there a way to make it
smaller? maybe with smaller fonts, icons...

It would be nice to be able to set a 'global' font and widget size for d.m --
i am often running out of room on my screen on my little 1024x768 laptop
screen.

In linux i use multiple desktop...One for consolle and d.m and one for
monitor....
