Hi guys!
During the previous day,I have noticed that grass irc channel, is alive;
talking with other members we thought that would be a nice idea to
have a bot logging the chan, so searching can be done also on them.
This is the bot used on QGIS channel (thx Tim ) http://supybot.com/
For anyone who don't know what i am talking about, those are the clients:
www.mirc.com (win) http://konversation.kde.org/ or www.xchat.org (linux)
Not yet, but i think we can host the log on the GRASS main site...
Bye
Luca

Hi Luca,
Did you already implement the logging bot? If so, do you have a place
where the logs are accessible?

Should be a good idea.
Another good thing about IRCbots, as I've seen on debian [1] channels,
is that they are able to give some useful information, like a short
presentation of the members, some definitions, short help messages,
that kind of stuff.
Was I clear?
[1] I sometimes look at #debian (en), #debian-br (pt_BR), #debian-rj (pt_BR)
