In the meantime, I’ve noticed that Jody applied Palantir to GeoNetwork, and enabled javadoc formatting too… nice way of using all 120 columns for javadocs as well.
This of course increases the number of changes, but improves javadocs too.
I’ve tried it on GeoTools and created a draft branch for it too, this allows comparison:
I like what I see, and planning to enable javadoc reformatting as well… unless there are objections. Let me know!

javadoc formatting was previously enabled for their prior Google Java format use.
