GSoC-2025 Introduction: Fan Wu

Hi, everyone!

I’m Fan Wu, and you can call me wifi. I’m an undergraduate student from the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering, Wuhan University, China, majoring in Spatial Information and Digital Technology.

I’m glad to be joining the pgRouting community as a GSoC 2025 contributor. This summer, I’ll be working on implementing the King Ordering and Minimum Degree Ordering algorithms, which will help improve performance in solving sparse graph problems.

During the community bonding period, I have completed the following tasks:

  • Created my OSGeo Profile. [1]
  • Added wiki link and student repository on OSGeo’s accepted student’s wiki page. [2]
  • Read Google’s GSoC student guide and OSGeo’s specific instructions.

I’m looking forward to learning more, collaborating with the community, and making meaningful contributions over the coming months. Excited to get started!

Best Regards,
Fan Wu
