Hi everyone,
I’m Bipasha Gayary, a second year undergraduate at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee pursuing a B.Tech in Geological Technology and I am excited to be participating in Google Summer of Code 2025 with OSGeo under the pgRouting project.
This summer, I will be working on integrating the Sloan Sparse Matrix Ordering Algorithm from Boost Graph Library into pgRouting. The aim is to implement a new function, pgr_sloanOrdering(), which will optimize sparse graph structures by reducing their bandwidth and profile and provide full documentation, test coverage, and usage examples.
I have completed the following tasks so far:
- Created my OSGeo User Profile.
- Created the wiki page for my project.
- Added my wiki and repository links to the Accepted Proposals page and hyperlinked my profile too. OSGeo Accepted Students Page 2025
- Set up my public GitHub repository.
Throughout the summer, I will regularly update the wiki and repository with my progress. I would be grateful for your feedback, suggestions, or any references that could help improve the implementation timeline and integration.
