I Just wanted to take the opportunity to mention that there are two
new programs in GRASS 4.1 for importing/exporting HDF format Scientific
Data Sets, r.in.hdf & r.out.hdf in src.garden. As part of adding these
two programs, the entire HDF library & documentation (HDF3.2r3) is
included. So if you're unfamiliar with HDF & want to check it out, it's
in there.
Also wanted to remind folks that Spyglass announced that Transform now
reads GRASS raster format.
