My name is Sal Yaya, founder of saltco.org - based on Minneapolis, MN but most of our work landing back home in Sudan. Came from Surveying Engineering & GIS background. I just joined QGIS & OSGeo and wanted to say hello to everyone! saltco is running on one idea of “Digital Independence using Open Source and assisting whose with limited resource”. I teach GIS, Python and geospatial analysis using open source. Right now we are mid-course with a free, offline-first QGIS cousre " Applied Spatial Analysis Using QGIs - GIS for Surveyors ( 81 Students enrolled) and we have a session every Sunday for one hour. So I’m here to learn from this community as much as to share and inviting you to attend one of our sessions or review our materials. Everything is open on GitHub ( saltcotraining-geoai ) and weekly recording in our YouTube Channel (@saltcoTraining) or write-ups on https://saltco.org.
