Dear Grass Users,
I am trying to label contour lines that I have converted from DXF files. It
seems that the contour line contain lots of nodes within one contour line.
How can I reduce these nodes, so that labelling the contour lines will be
easier. I have used v.trim, with the option factor 0, to reduce this excess
nodes. It seems to reduce the number of nodes, but it also reduce the contour
lines. How can I overcome this problem?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers,
Kamarul
Hi Kamarul,
Use v.prune. Also, for labelling the contours in v.digit, look under the
Label menu for the "c" option on the right half of the screen. Good luck. Rick
