As you know the Corps of Engineers is working with FEMA in south
Florida in support of the Hurricane relief effort. The GIS effort is in great
need of any and all data pertaining to the impacted area. They do currently
have the tiger files of the area as supplied by Jacinda Barbehenn. The greatest
need is on the environmental side. Any vegetation maps, soils, landuse, or
classified imagery would be greatly appreciated.
At the present the individuals there (Scott Walker from Fort Worth and
Mark Johnson from CERL ) do not have network access, so for the time being
it has been requested to use the Fort Worth Environmental
Planning GIS Facilities as a clearing house for any applicable data.
