Subject: Importing DXF Files
Hello,
I have what appears to be a simple problem to solve:
I recently imported DXF files into Grass4.0 that were created in AutoCAD
via v.in.dxf. This created two directories: dig and dig_atts, which
house the vector map files and the related attributes, respectively.
Question: How do you link the two files? The attributes are a single
value, such as contours, for example. Is there a file I need to update,
or some command which I keep overlooking? Any help from anyone that
has done this before would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Christine Weiss

You are right - you need to just run the command v.cadlabel to link
the attributes to the vector map.
