When patching dlg files together, map edges are not removed. Is there a way
to get rid of the map edges other than v.digit?

If you are only importing a few dlg files, the easiest thing is to
edit them out with v.digit or xdigit. If you are working with a
large number, they can be distinguished because they are unlabeled,
as I recall.
