Has anyone managed to compile and install GRASS4.1 on IBM/ESA under AIX.

We are running GRASS4.1 on an IBM/RS6000 under AIX 3.2. I am not sure
if someone has responded to your request but I can send you a troff version
of the GRASS installation guide and list of hints for compilation
under AIX. Please, contact me directly if I can be of some assistance
for you.
At the very begining we have several problems.
The installation guide and all other manuals are in postscript format.
Unfortunately, we don't have postscript printers or drivers here, only
HP III, so we can't print out this. Is there any possibility for conversion to
some other formats?
There is a PD software called Ghostscript running under X-win, DOS,
MS Windows which converts *.ps files or you can print out them on your
printer. It is available on several GNU distribution sites (e.g.
prep.ai.mit.edu /pub/gnu or ftp.cs.wrsc.edu /pub/X )
