Kang's Linux binaries (4.1.5) on RedHat 3.0?

YES!

After installing libcurses-1.0-1.i386.rpm (from sunsite, RedHat still
seems to be suffering from the aftermath of Hurricane Fran), Kang's 4.1.5
ELF binaries run GREAT!!
Thanks for the tip!!!

My ONLY problem with getting Kang's 4.1.5 ELF Binaries running under Red
Hat 3.0.3 was related to the absence of the Curses Library with the move
from LIBC from 5.0.9 to 5.2.18 (find a copy of my May 9th Post is

appended

to this message). You did NOT specify which Red Hat 3.0 you are

referring

to, mine is Red Hat 3.0.3 (Picasso) with Red Hat's support for the 2.0
Kernels (GRASS 4.1.5 was also working with Red Hat's original 1.2.13
Kernel) and all current 3.0.3 patches. Are you referring to 3.0.3
(Picasso) or the Beta of 3.0.4 (Rembrant), I have yet to try the later?

In the move from version "5.0.9" to "5.2.18" of the GNU Libc for Linux,
both the "curses" & "termcap" Libraries were dropped (recommending people
switch from using "curses/termcap" to using "ncurses"). For example this
creates a problem for those using Red Hat 3.0.3! Although this Linux
Package does use GNU Libc 5.2.18, the "curses" Library is NOT included in
Red Hat's "standard" distribrution. It is though available on their FTP
Site:

     ftp.redhat.com:/pub/misc/libcurses-1.0-1.i386.rpm
