LINUX/GRASS?

Hello all,

I am intrested in setting up GRASS on LINUX and have a few
basic questions.

I was thinking of using Slackware Professional LINUX 2.1,
*** will this work with GRASS?

What type CPU configuration works the best?

How difficults is it set a digitizer, and what type of
digitizer would works the best.

Any other low level information on basic set-up will be
helpful.

Hi,

I have GRASS running on Slackware2.0 (Linux 1.0.9, 1.1.73) on a 386/25 8M
and a 486/33 8M. The only problem was an old vga card that could only do
16 colors. GRASS demands 256.
