It should be simple to control the sort of objectionable traffic Jason
describes using list manager software such as Majordomo or Listproc. I use
Majordomo here and it has a facility to prevent articles being sent to a list
by anyone other than subscribers. I'm surprised that the ListManager software
used to manage the GRASS lists doesn't offer this.
