Any files or directories made under the GRASS HOME-directory
automatically become "locations", polluting the Location-list that
the user can call from the GRASS starting-screen. So various filter and

Martijn,
The general rule of thumb around here is to put all of your
scripts and rules files under your mapset directory, rather
than under the location directory. The very first thing that
I do when I start GRASS is to "cd" to my mapset directory.
