I am trying to import 1:250,000 land use/land cover maps from USGS (via
ftp @ edcftp.cr.usgs.gov.
Following the manual instructions i use dd if=grid_cell ibs=8000 cbs=80
conv=unblock | m.lulc.read outfile
and then,
m.lulc.USGS outfile
the error message suggests that this is not LULC binary format and
I need something called 'Mlulc.extract'
to convert from USGS LULC binary to LULC binary
where can I find Mlulc.extract, or is there something else that will
do the trick
