Merging DEM's

For a project I need to sew together 5 standard 7.5 degree USGS DEM's. Can
anyone point me to a place in the GRASS documentation where it explains how
to do this? Many thanks for the help! tom@bluesky.org

Tom,

Use r.patch to patch multiple maps together. Check the on-line manual
pages or the GRASS g.manual command. Be sure to set your region to include
the total area of interest.
