HOW TO PARTECIPATE TO AIRBORNE HYPERSPECTAL SCANNER DEPLOYMENT IN USA AND
CANADA DURING SUMMER 1996 (MIVIS 102 CHANNELS), MUSTANG '96.
In June 1996, in conjunction with the Second International Airborne Remote
Sensing Conference and Exhibition, the Airborne Laboratory of the Italian
National Research Council (LARA Project) is yet scheduled to be present at
NASA-AMES airfield, California.
This presence will make available for the first time in USA and Canada the
MIVIS AA 5000 hyperspectral scanner yet deploied during 1994-1995 in Italy,
France and Germany.
Several North American Institutions have been showing their interest to
this opportunity and LARA Project is still evaluating the best way how to
manage surveys over some proposed test areas.
In order to set up an appropriate schedule, a meeting is planned during the
ERIM conference on Remote Sensing Applications to Geology, Las Vegas,
February 1996.
CNR is committed to request only the coverage of the operations related to
each individual test site whilst the move in/out (Italy -East Coast USA )
is still placed in its own budget .
Researchers and institutions willing to propose specific surveys can
