Subject: network troublesevery morning during the work week we get thousands of messages across the
network. it looks like this :le0: Receive: STP in rmd cleared
le0: Receive: giant packet from ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff

le0: Receive: giant packet from ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ffwe use Sun SPARK machines but there are several different types of machines on
the network. Has anybody else seen anything similar or better yet how could it be fixed ??Ayn help is appreciated

These giant packets are invariably caused by Macintoshes.
You said you have a mixed environment and a bet this includes Macs.
There is nothing that you can do about it, but the good news is that it causes
no known problems.
