Hello, I'm somewhat new to GRASS. Two questions which everyone but me
probably knows the answer for.1) Is there a way to size the GRASS monitor automatically (through scripting
or by modifying the fifo device file) at the beginning of a GRASS session.
The way to size and place the graphics monitors is through the the
environmental variables: XDRIVER_TOP, XDRIVER_LEFT, XDRIVER_HEIGHT,
XDRIVER_WIDTH.
On my sparc2 running solaris 2.3, I had to append the motif symbols to the
default symbols table to make XDRIVER work. The instructions to do that
are in installGuide.ps
