NEWBY: creating 3d output

Hello,

I have created a 3d view of my data which I would like to print.

I have also created a postscript device to print to.

After selecting the device I run ps.map, specify an output file and arrive
at an extremely unhelpful prompt. Now what? The ps.map documentation makes
no mention of how to output the contents of the display to a map.

Or do I somehow save the display contents to a raster?

Please help a pathetic beginner.

Try the CELL driver, which can be used to output raster data to an
image file.

There are also some instructions to recompile the ps.map command
under linux. I appologise that there are so many little errors in
GRASS, we are working on it.
