NVIZ fixed

Dear all,

Philip Warner managed to fix the NVIZ bugs!

Of course this needs to be validated for
further platforms. You are invited to try
yourself, especially if you never got NVIZ
running.

The new version is uploaded to CVS.
Details on CVS you find here:
http://www.geog.uni-hannover.de/grass/grasscvs.html
http://www.baylor.edu/~grass/grasscvs.html

You can extract NVIZ only (no need to get 100MB over telephone line):

--------------- snip -------------------------------
Downloading parts of the GRASS code

In case you just want to update/download parts of the GRASS source code
repository, you can checkout/update within the well know GRASS directories.
Example:

If you want to get the latest NVIZ code, enter following phrase:

cvs -z3 co grass/src.contrib/GMSL/NVIZ2.2

This prevents you from downloading the full source code package.
--------------- snip -------------------------------

Kind regards

Markus Neteler

For the record: these patches worked on my Linux box (after months of
NVIZ segment faults.) I'm finding NVIZ to be pretty great (kinda quirky
interface though).
