so far, so good - but please be aware of some wrong absolute pathnames
e.g. in
/usr/local/grass42/etc/bin/contrib/cmd/nviz2.2
they refer to
/usr/local/grass-5.0b/...
and if you don't have grass5.0bX on your box, you have some problems
I am very sorry, I wasn't aware of that. So I have
removed the nviz/GRASS4.2.1/linux from the my server.
NVIZ is too much GRASS 5 related - no hope to
make it usable for GRASS 4.x (at least I have no time
for that).
Sorry, but nviz-user's might have to migrate to GRASS 5...
