For the 2024 FOSS4G conference (Belém, Brazil) we need some email
addresses, is it possible to have them using the foss4g.org domain?
We need:
- info@foss4g.org (general infomration about event)
- register@foss4g.org (for registration subject)
- patrocinadores@foss4g.org (for sponsors subjects)
- callforpapers@foss4g.org (CFP
- academic@foss4g.org (Academic track)
As this is my first request, let me know if I need to share more
information about it.
Thanks a lot
Felipe

We only have aliases functionality setup for foss4g, not mailboxes. Do
you have email addresses these should forward to?

Done. You should get an email with confirmation to accept the forward.
Once you approve you should be able to get emails sent to any of the
addresses listed above.

Would be possible to resend it again? This tie I will take care of this
closely.
Sorry for bothering.

Comment:
Robe, sorry for bothering again.
Would be possible to disable the alias "patrocinadores" and enable
"sponsors"?
the communication team has just realized that the alias is in portugueses
and would be better to have all alias in english.

Done. It's autoapproved since the others are set, so you won't get an
email to approve.

@strk have any thoughts on this. I know we have a way with osgeo.org
domain, though I think it's more involved than I would like. Not sure how
to setup something similar for foss4g.org domain. Right now we are using
pairdomains basic email forwarding which at a glance doesn't look like it
offers that feature. We'd have to upgrade to their promail, which then
might not be the best option given all the other mail providers out there
or hosting our own.

Thanks Robe! Don't worry about it. I was more to mention that perhaps we
will need to take care of when sending messages.
Best regards
