MapFish is a flexible and complete framework for building rich web-mapping applications. It is based on the Pylons Python web framework, and emphasizes high productivity, and high-quality development. MapFish also provides a complete RIA-oriented JavaScript toolbox. The JavaScript toolbox is composed of the ExtJS, OpenLayers, GeoExt JavaScript toolkits, and specific components for interacting with MapFish web services. MapFish supports several OGC standards, including WMS, WFS, WMC, KML and GML via GeoExt and OpenLayers.
