Content-Type: text/plain; charset=“utf-8”I’m naren karri, from India. I love software. I worked on various personal
software projects. Now i am very to curious work on real software projects.
So i strongly decided to contribute to open source.Personally i like to work on projects using c++ and python. And i am very
interested in algorithms too. So i thought pgRouting is a perfect match for
me.But I’m completely new to open source contribution. So, would anyone give
some suggestions on how to start contributing to pgRouting, like any
specific technologies to learn etc.regards,
naren

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=“utf-8”Hi Naren,
Nice to hear that you want to contribute to Open Source.
Since you wrote to the pgRouting mailing list here is how you would get
started with pgRouting.First you would learn about pgRouting and use Open Source software.
A good start is the pgRouting workshop: https://workshop.pgrouting.org/However, the workshop only covers a fraction of the available functions and
algorithms.
You could read through the documentation what is there:
https://docs.pgrouting.org/
Hopefully you get some inspiring ideas and try something out. Then read through the information on the pgRouting Wiki:
https://github.com/pgRouting/pgrouting/wiki
There is information on how to get started contributing. If there is anything missing or not understandable, feel free to ask
anytime.Best regards,
