The versatec driver for p.map creates a temporary sun raster file, which is
processed by the versatec sprint command and deleted subsequently. The
problem I have, is that the versatec is not hooked up to the local machine
where GRASS is running. Thus p.map deletes the file after sending an error
message that it can't execute versatecs sprint command. What I want to do
is, to save the temporary file and ftp it to the machine driving the
versatec for subsequent plotting. How can I prevent the temporary file from
being deleted?
