Problems with SGI binaries

Hello,

Has anyone tried to download the sgi binaries lately ?

I am having problems gettinG the full binaries across the net. My ftp informa-
-tion tells me that the size of the file transfer (104kb) is correct, so
I don't lose anything there. But unzipping these files is a problem.

I don't seem to get the grass4.1* executable , or .gislock. Where are these
files ?

After uncompressing the binaries this is what I have

README.install driver/ lost+found/
SG3d.ps etc/ man/
XKeysymDB.motif fonts/ scripts/
bin/ garden/ setup.script*
data/ grass4.1.template* txt/
dev/ locks/ xgrass4.1.template*

Anyone had the same problem ?

Jeremy

you don't need either one. The former must be created, depending
upon where you install the binaries:

grass4.1| #!/bin/sh
grass4.1| GISBASE=/home/ingis/gis/b/GRASS/grass4.1/5.3; export GISBASE
grass4.1| exec $GISBASE/etc/GIS.sh $*

The latter is created by grass when it is run.

Darrell
