Fellow GP's
I have used d.zoom/g.region to define North America out of my World
Database as my working area. I can dispaly rasters and multiple vectors to
the monitor just fine. When I use ps.map to create a postscript image of the
same, I get an error during the interpretation by my printer both laser and
color ps printers.
I have used ghostview to look at the image and only part of the
vectors show up. I have successfully used these vectors and rasters to
plot at a smaller scale continously over the last few months.
To date I have only experienced this problem when using the region
of North America, strangely when I zoom in on a sub-region of NA, then
normal printing is possible. This would lead me to believe that ps.map is
getting confused by defaults generated by d.zoom/g.region but only
intermittently. I have looked at the WIND file in my database and it looks
fine, with no apparently wrong items.
Does anyone have any potential fixes or suggestions for this problem
