ps.map to powerpoint

Hi,
Does anyone know how to convert the maps generated by ps.map to
the format readable to powerpoint or other graphic softwares?

My software of choice would be the graphics conversion package "xv", with
GhostScript installed on the system for PostScript interpretation. Both
of these packages can be found on the 'Net.
