Dear GRASSHoppers,
We recently acquired a PostScript cartridge for our HP Paintjet XL300,
and I was hoping that I would finally be able to produce good-looking
maps with ps.map. The initial output looked good, but was by no means
scaled. I then installed the updates 1,2 and 3 to see if this would help,
but to my surprise the only thing my printer says now is:
OFFENDING COMMAND: NaN
and goes on producing pages of offending commands. Obviously I'm doing
something wrong. I looked at the postscript drivers in the source code: the
only ones I could find (color.ps and grey.ps from the SCS) look just like
ordinary p.map device-files, and not at all like the kind of file that is
presented in the manual with ps.select. Can someone tell me how to install
the ps.map utilities in a more productive way? Thanks!
