I'm trying to make a isopleth of some rainfall. The r.contour program used
to work great and take its time running reading all my raster map, but now
it seems to just
skim over it real fast creating contour lines with jagged edges. The ones I
did before are all smooth and seem to draw on the screen when displayed, the
new ones just appear on the screen in one stroke and even catch the edge of
the raster map as a contour. What am I doing wrong???
Thanks for all your help. Teresa Salyer <salyer@tiaer.tarleton.edu>
Teresa,
Check to see if your resolution is the same as it was when
"it ran great". It sounds as if your resolution may be different, so
compare the region of a good isopleth map to a bad isopleth map.
good luck,
brian

Hi Teresa,
You can check the resolution of your raster map, then change the resolution
of your region to match. This should fix the problem. Rick
