r.in.ascii

Grass folks --

We are considering ordering some data in a format that Grass doesn't
accept, but that's easy enough to edit for import via r.in.ascii.
Before we go ahead, can anyone tell me whether r.in.ascii will
accept long/lat files? or is it restricted to UTM (as some raster
commands are...)?

Thanks -- Mary

r.in.ascii will work with lat-lon.
