r.line stops partway through

quite happily. This seems to suggest that there is a built in limit to
the size of maps that r.line will process. Can anyone confirm this?

I agree with Mr Cox that there is such a limit. A few months ago I tried
to `r.line' a 1250 x 1250 map and it wouldn't work. Then I split the map
into two 625 x 1250 maps and r.line did the job. I corresponded about this
with someone working at CERL (I think), but this sort of petered out. Per-
haps this can be looked into by the original programmer?
