I'm trying to use r.profile to get a profile at an angle to
my shoreline. I know the end points of my profile and inputed them
into the program. The problem is that the output is in reverse
order. If I run a profile in a straight line the profile is fine!
Can anyone tell me if I reverse the order of numbers if I
will get a good profile? Thanks for any advice.

Kym the trouble is that r.profile is always working from upper left corner down with one line at the time. If you want a profile wich goes up from left to right you will most probably get a line like a saw (I hope it is not only a dutch expression)
If yoe reverse the numbers the problems will stay, the only way of fixing this problem is by rewriting the r.profile routine and read the numbers the other way around.
