r.water.outlet

I got r.water.outlet from the moon just yesterday and it just gives me a blank
screen for whatever I feed it on the command line. We are trying to
delineate basins based on certain stream gages and a DEM. I tried using
r.water.outlet based on the products generated by r.watershed4.0. Has any
body else faced the same problem???

I noticed the question about r.water.outlet has been asked frequently
over several months. When I needed the same function last year, I too
could only find it in the Manual List. So I went on to write one called
r.upbasin.downpath for my need. Someone may want to try it when
r.water.outlet has not been completely restored.

R.upbasin.downpath uses DRAINAGE-DIRECTIONS defined by the
src.contrib/NMSU/WRAT program:
                         4 3 2
                         5 1
                         6 7 8
which MIGHT differ from those defined by r.watershed. If that's the case,
it's better to use WRAT, or to reclass the drainage map at first.

Some features: displaying the upper basins and flow paths on graphics window,
no manual pages, ...

R.upbasin.downpath can be ftp-ed from landfill.rutgers.edu in the
pub/incoming directory.
