Use the command (GRASS 4.0) r.surf.contur. First use v.digit, Customize,Display
to show the line labels and v.digit's edit to correct any errors. Then convert
the contour vector to a raster. Only the lines should be non zero values in
the resulting raster file, if not you may have area's labled (correct with
v.digit, Edit). Then use r.surf.contour. I must admit, however, that I have
yet to correctly use r.surf.contour. I am wondering what the area boundary
and/or neat line should be labled?
