RE: [Geoserver-users] Silent mode for GeoServer on a Windows 2003 Server Virtual Machine

Alternatively, you could run the war version through a servlet container
like Tomcat or Jrun, which run as services anyway so they run even when

There's code in an issue that will run it as a windows service.
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-370 If you have success
with this
let us know and we can include it in the next release.

best regards,

Chris
