The hard links are a link to the program front.end. This means that
they each show the size of front.end; yet all of the programs together
only take the same amount of disk space as one copy. This allows
front.end to be the parser for all programs and then call the actual
command with the right parameters. Look into the prgrammers manual
for information about the parser.
