Hello,
I am hoping some one can answer a (probably) simple question that I have.
I want to use s.surf.idw with a Longitude/Latitude database, of course I
get a result when I use it but I don't know how relevant the result is. I
know that r.surf.idw uses geodesic distance measures for Long/Lat
databases and that r.surf.idw2 doesn't but can find no indication of
whether or not s.surf.idw should be used with Long/Lat databases.
Rasterising the site files is not an option because I have several sites
for some individual Long/Lat coordinates.
I would be extremely grateful If somebody could answer this question, or,
if the answer is negative, any other suggestions for interpolation using
Long/lat referenced site files would be much appreciated.
