I have a raster file that I want to shift or move all the cells a specific dist
ance. For example
I want to move all the cells 1 degree latitude north, and 1 degree longitude ea
st. Does anyone
know how to do that?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

Julie,
All of the responses that suggest that you edit the appropriate header
file under the $LOCATION/cellhd directory are correct. However, I wanted
to point out to you that if you are working in a projection (UTM, State
Plane, etc.), you cannot readily move in even lat/long increments, as 1
degree will be a different projected distance on different edges of your
raster file. You can readily move 100,000 meters, but not 1 degree. Of
course, if you're Location is set up in lat/long, you can move in degrees
to your heart's content. Just wanted to clarify!
Regards,
