We have Rim ,s.db.rim and v.db.rim in working order on

Has anyone managed to compile v.db.rim and s.db.rim on an
RS6000? I got Rim to compile ok, but the GRASS programs
choke at link time, because of missing library functions.
I think it is a function naming problem, between C and Fortran,
or something like that. Any help would be appreciated.
Second question, while I am at it: has anyone written GRASS
interfaces for any of the other "free" relational databases?
DiamondBase, University INGRES, Postgres, Requiem, or SQL queries
in general?
