sites w/ non-US char set

Does anyone (particularly in Europe) use non-US (8-bit) characters in
site lists? If so, would you mind uuencoding a sample file (< 50
lines) and sending it to me (along with DEFAULT_WIND). I would like
to test some sites software. Thanks,

Obviously you are aware that the incorporation of
so-called diacritic signs under UNIX is still problematic for a lot of
software, including GRASS and INFORMIX which I have been using
exclusively for the creation of a French sites database. The French were
only mildly annoyed at the impossibility of including accents, and we
spent several weeks exchanging diskettes (by snail-mail, not everyone is
on the net) trying to find out how to convert their data, in
MacIntosh format, to UNIX-compatible format. So if you're planning to
incorporate the extended ASCII set in GRASS, I am definitely in favour!
I'll send you a file a.s.a.p.!

yes, but it is becoming less and less problematic. I've been playing
with Hebrew text (in X & emacs) and looking at setlocale(3c) and just
thought I'd get some sample sites from another continent.

I thought that I would at least take a look at it (not making any
promises
