IPW is available in a few places. Does anyone have the ftp site address?
An extended version of IPW is at ftp://morpheus.cor.epa/pub/misc/ipw
The extended version contains several programs which are relevant
to recent postings on this list:
- computing solar radiation over a DEM (see gtoporad, toporad)
- converting to/from GRASS (ipw.to.grass, grass.to.ipw)
- reprojecting rasters, with an option for nearest neighbor or
bilinear resampling (reproj)
It's great software--I use it every day. A while ago there was an article
in Grassclippings by Greg Koerper that introduced IPW
and discussed the advantages of using GRASS and IPW together.
