In The January 1994 grasshopper archive, Ye Qi writes:
GRASS was working very well until I replaced Solaris 2.2 with 2.3.
Now I cannot start the graphics monitor.
I got the following message while running d.mon:

Please start graphics monitor <x0>.

I have EXACTLY the same problem with our SOLARIS 2.3 SUN.
No response appeard in subsequent grasshopper archives.
If somebody does know the solution to this, please post it!
