Heyo--I haven't used GRASS for a while. I haven't been on the list for a

experiences with Solaris 2.4? Has CERL tested 4.1 on 2.4?2. I assume I should get the GRASS code from the moon grass/grass4.1
directories. Is this true?If you reply to me directly, I will summarize for the list. Thank you in

Hello Nancy,
I have put the Update5 package on moon last night. Look under the
/grass/grass4.1/update_packages directory. Today I hope to package
up Update5 applied Grass and place the source and Sun4 binary on
moon under the /grass/grass4.1/release directory.
I have tested the compiled code under Solaris2.4 and using fifos rather
than message queues. The machine was the Sun Voyager, a microSPARCII
chip, 50mHz, 32 MB RAM, portable workstation. Grass ran very fast and
displayed maps to the graphics monitor very quickly.
