Dear Bill,
what is the status of the new SG3D development. Do You have
some news about the copyright.
Currently I bought OpenGL for Linux and I would like to try
to port Your stuff.
And what is the status of GRASS 5.0
Greetings
Andreas

I did a partial port of SG3D to OpenGl/Motif as part of a demo i wrote for DEC
whil a contracter there. I threw together the sources and sent them to
Bill, who probably hasn't had the time to wade through them. It was rather a
rushed job, I'm afraid, but it worked.
I got the basic stuff, the animation, and a couple of other things working. It
looked pretty nice. It was working unser OSF/1 on an Alpha when i left last
March.
You can contact David Ross (ross@avalon.enet.dec.com) who is the keeper of
those sources. Bill is a better bet, though.
(shameless plug follows)
I am a contractor who is available at this time. If you have some
$, i might be able to complete the port for you.
