tcltkgrass w/linux

We have a linux/grass box running & I'm wondering if tcltkgrass works on
this platform? I apologise if this is in a FAQ, but I could not find it
under most likely places. I assume to compile, I have to edit the
Makefile to match the configuration of my system? Thanks in advance
